Application and Award Timetable
|
In order to receive financial aid, you must file the appropriate paperwork at the appropriate time. This timetable is designed to help you know when things are due and to follow what is happening in the Financial Aid Office.
January
- FAFSA available online for upcoming school year
- Financial Aid disbursed for current spring semester
- Scholarship applications for upcoming academic year due for returning cadets (January 31st)
March
- Summer school applications available for financial aid
- South Carolina Teacher and Career Changer Loan Applications available for upcoming school year
- Priority deadline for FAFSA to be received at The Citadel for upcoming academic year (March 15th)
April
- Begin financial aid award notifications for upcoming academic year
- Cease processing financial aid for current academic year
May
- Disburse financial aid for Maymester
June
- Disburse financial aid for Summer Session I
July
- Deadline to apply for financial aid for the upcoming year and to have aid available in time for fee payment (July 1st)
- Disburse financial aid for Summer Session II
August
- Disburse financial aid for Fall Semester
October
- Priority deadline for FAFSA to be received at The Citadel for upcoming spring semester (does not apply if you received aid at The Citadel for current Fall Semester)
