Objective:  To understand the role of the financial manager in the firm and the techniques used to analyze and evaluate the financial position of the firm in order to best utilize financial assets and to project future revenues and expenses.

Calculator: Students are required to have the use of some sort of financial calculator; for example a TI BA or HP 12C.

 

Grading: There will be three tests, a final exam and a stock portfolio "contest".  The grade will be based on the following weights:
