Responsibilities included teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, coordinating the secondary education program (1998-1999) and assisting with numerous outreach efforts of the Education Department.

Tenure awarded 1992; Associate Professor rank 1994.

Responsible for planning and implementing a grant to prepare undergraduate students in teacher education to work successfully with at-risk, low-achieving students in the public schools in reading, math, and composition. Coordinated the Field Experience Program for the teacher education program.
