Additional Information

  • Pioneered the development and implementation of three Biotechnology Education Centers in the state of New Hampshire for high school students.
  • Developed STEM courses for Tennessee, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
  • Former member of New Hampshire High School Redesign Vision and Ed in '08 that seeks to promote relevant education.
  • Developed and lead elementary and middle school science and engineering experiences for students in order to promote these as career choices.
  • Developed and ran biotechnology training programs for educators in the state of New Hampshire from 2001-2007.
  • Developed and ran a summer forensics club for the Sandown, NH Public Library in July of 2006.
  • Developed, lead the creation of and installed a GMO display for the Boston Museum of Science.
  • Acted as a consultant for Biotechnology programs in the nation.
  • Successfully arranged internships for Biotechnology students within the R&D and manufacturing fields.
  • Successful experience as a grant writer and have secured significant funding for all program initiatives.
  • Have obtained over $1M to date from grants, corporate sponsorships and donations for all program initiatives.
  • Won approval for articulation of Biotechnology Programs with the New Hampshire Community Technical College, where high school students can obtain a total of 15 college level credits.
  • Repsonsible for extensive budgets and control over construction of classrooms and laboratory facilities for all program initiatives. Acted as the decision-maker in all laboratory spaces.
  • Actively work with advisory committees to maintain the excellence of all program initiatives.
  • Developed an interactive Web Page for the Biotechnology program.
  • Planned and ran educational trips to Costa Rica and Bermuda for students.
