The
Citadel's School of Education is housed in Capers Hall.
Built in 1951, Capers Hall is home to offices,
classrooms and other areas for Education, English, History,
Modern Languages, Political Science and Psychology.
The building is named in honor of brothers, Brigadier
General Ellison Capers, C.S.A., Citadel 1857, and Major Francis
W. Capers, Superintendent of The Citadel from 1852-1859.
The south wing of Capers Hall is a 1978 addition
dedicated to the memory of Mr. Rodney Williams at the request
of his wife.
