COLLEGE FAIR TRAINING:

With 350+ Citadel Volunteers recruiting for The Citadel, training becomes a vital factor in providing up-to-date guidance to new and veteran CV's alike. Typically, this was conducted via regional meetings, The CV Manual, and by phone consultation.

With the technological advances in the past 15 years, website training has become the wave of the future. This fall, we're introducing a variety of online training videos to help new CV's "learn the ropes".

Each video is viewable with most media players, such as Windows Media Player. Feedback is useful, so please don't hesitate to let us know if you're experiencing any difficulties viewing any of the training videos.

1. The Citadel Volunteer Manual is "Guidon" to CV duties, annual recruiting events & procedures. All CV's should have a copy on hand at college fairs in addition to the College Fair Stat. Guide.

2. The CV Phone A Thon Guide is the necessary guide to making accepted student phone calls. It specifically outlines the nature of these calls with provided guidelines.

3. The 2006 College Fair Stat. Guide is the key item for CV's to bring along to college fairs. It provides information on Admissions figures and statistics, allowing CV's to answer most student questions.

4. The CV Recruiting Material Glossary is a document explaining the uses of the various recruiting materials the Citadel Admissions Office provides CV's for college fairs and other recruiting engagements.
