With Pre-Knob overnight visits, it is important
to remember three things:
1. They are reserved
only for academically accepted students.
2. The dates fill up very quickly, thus the
early students are accepted, the more opportunities
they will have..
3. 80%+ of the students who participate end
up matriculating to The Citadel.

Friday afternoon visits are for students
whose schedule's prevent an overnight visit - or for students
who apply after all the PKV's are booked.
Essentially, these are condensed visits
that offer students and parents an opportunity to meet key
faculty and staff and take part in a Cadet led tour of campus.
*SCHOLARS
VISITS*
Scholars visits are for select students
who've been personally invited to The Citadel to compete
for academic scholarship money. Every application is screened
- typically for minimums of 1250 (SAT) and 3.4 (GPA).
Do not tell anyone
prospective students that they will likely receive money.
This is determined by the strength of each individual class!
