The $100 Application Fee and $850 CSI Program Fee are nonrefundable.
These fees are nonrefundable because the CSI program hires and trains staff
and purchases materials in advance based on the number of students who have
registered for CSI.
If you have any questions or concerns about this policy please contact the CSI Coordinator.
Tuition is fully refunded through the first three days of classes. In order to get a refund, the student must officially withdraw from his/her classes and the CSI program following the outprocessing guidelines. No refunds will be given after the close of business on the third day of classes.
Last date for tuition refunds
Session I: Wednesday June 4th
Session II: Wednesday July 9th
Barracks (room and board) fees are refunded on a prorated basis. The date that the student officially withdraws from his/her classes and moves out of the barracks is the date used for the prorated refund. Barracks fees are prorated on a weekly basis. Thus, a student who leaves mid-week will still be charged for the full week.
The Cadet Store will notify you of its refund policy when you purchase your textbooks. In general, refunds for textbooks are only given before a specified date and with proof that the student has dropped the class for which the textbook was purchased. Please contact the Cadet Store at 843-953-5166 if you have questions about their refund policies.

Payment plans are available for students who wish to spread out their CSI payments over up to 6 months. Information on payment plans will be included in the registration packet sent to all accepted CSI students.
You may be able to apply financial aid you have received toward the cost of CSI. Please contact the Citadel Financial Aid Office for more information. Be sure to tell them that you are a CSI student, as the fees for CSI differ from those for regular summer school.
A limited number of CSI scholarships will be available. These funds will be awarded based on the student's level of financial need, as determined by the Citadel Financial Aid office. Students will be asked to indicate whether they want to be considered for scholarship funds on the payment form included in the registration packet. For more information, please contact the CSI Coordinator.
