Where to Go

All students must report to the main entrance of Padgett-Thomas Barracks to check in with CSI staff members upon arrival.

CSI staff members will be available to assist students with moving into the barracks. Family and friends will also be allowed to enter the barracks to help the students move in.

Parking

The area in front of Padgett-Thomas barracks is a loading zone only. You may park in front of the barracks only to unload your belongings from your vehicle. As soon as you have unloaded your belongings, your vehicle must be moved to a designated parking area.

CSI students who have paid for parking passes will receive them at check-in, along with directions to their assigned parking lot.

Family members may park in any campus visitor spaces after unloading their vehicles.

Please keep in mind that there may be up to 60 students and their families arriving in a short span of time, in addition to the regular traffic of summer school students and barracks staff. Your patience on check-in day is greatly appreciated!

Welcome Dinner

A casual welcome dinner for all CSI students and their immediate families will be held on June 1st (Session I) and July 6th (Session II). At the dinner, you will meet the CSI staff, receive additional information, complete permission forms and waivers, and have the opportunity to ask any last-minute questions.

The welcome dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Buyer Auditorium in Mark Clark Hall. Buyer Auditorium is located on the second floor of Mark Clark Hall, above the Gift Shop.

All CSI students are required to attend the welcome dinner. Immediate family members of CSI students are invited to attend. Registered students are asked to please RSVP the number of immediate family members attending the welcome dinner as soon as possible via phone (843-953-1821) or email (csi@citadel.edu).
