Spring Luncheon

The CSI Spring Luncheon was held on March 4th, 2008. Students and staff from the 2007 College Success Institute enjoyed a relaxing lunch in the Riverview Room. Four CSI students were recognized for their academic achievement at midterms.

CSI Alum Killed in Iraq

Marine 2nd Lt. Almar L. Fitzgerald
CSI Class of 2000
Citadel Class of 2004

Marine 2nd Lt. Almar L. Fitzgerald, 23, of Lexington, SC; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, CA; attached to the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward); Died February 21, 2006 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, of wounds sustained February 18 when an improvised explosive device detonated during combat operations against enemy forces in Ramadi, Iraq. Also killed was Cpl. Matt Conley.
