May 8 2010 Class of 2010 joins the ranks of the Long Gray Line
2010 Honorary Degree recipients Six honorary degrees were presented during the South Carolina Corps of Cadets commencement.
May 8, 2010 Ryan Keiper named recipient of 2010 Willson ring and Algernon award Ryan Nathanial Keiper is the 2010 recipient of the John O. Willson Ring and the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award. He was recognized during the South Carolina Corps of Cadets commencement on May 8, 2010 at The Citadel.
May 8. 2010 Harry Carter receives Grimsley teaching award and Algernon honors Harrison S. Carter of The Citadel School of Business Administration is the 2010 recipient of the James A. Grimsley Teaching Award and the Algernon Sydney Sullivan award for a faculty member.
May 8, 2010 Engineering and history majors named Class of 2010 honor graduates Cadet Joshua Michael Olson is the first honor graduate. Cadet Kevin Andrew Chaney is the second honor graduate.

May 8, 2010 A Citadel tradition: The last cadet in line speaks to his class For longer than most people on campus can remember, the last cadet to get his or her diploma and cross the stage during the South Carolina Corps of Cadets commencement has been given the honor of speaking to his classmates and to the thousands of family and friends in attendance. This year the honor goes to Cadet Jared Zentz, 4th Battalion commander and the recipient of one of four Air Force pilot slots given to Citadel seniors this year.

4 May 2010 The Citadel Graduate College will confer 313 graduate and evening undergraduate degrees this year. Among them are unique group of 22 Charleston County teachers who participated in the School of Education's first literacy cohort as part of a partnership between The Citadel's School of Education and the Charleston County School District.
27 April 2010 Class of 2010 Who’s Who announced Seventy cadets and active duty military students have been chosen by Citadel faculty members as the college's Class of 2010 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges is one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation.
