Ryan Keiper named recipient of 2010 Willson ring and Algernon award

Ryan Nathaniel Keiper is the 2010 recipient of the John O. Willson Ring and the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award. He was recognized during the South Carolina Corps of Cadets commencement on May 8, 2010 at The Citadel.

Harry Carter receives Grimsley teaching award and Algernon honors

Harrison S. Carter of The Citadel School of Business Administration is the 2010 recipient of the James A. Grimsley Teaching Award and the Algernon Sydney Sullivan award for a faculty member.

Cadet Joshua Michael Olson is the first honor graduate. Cadet Kevin Andrew Chaney is the second honor graduate.

Awards Convocation honors nearly 50 cadets, active duty students
Academic excellence, leadership and community service among cadets and active duty students were recognized Thursday, May 6, 2010, during The Citadel's annual Commencement Week Awards Convocation.  And a surprise a surprise presentation was made to Col. Al Gurganus, founding director of fellowships.
