1. Is there designated seating for visitors with disabilities?

 

For questions regarding handicapped seating at Corps of Cadets Commencement, contact Cadet Activities. For CGC Commencement handicapped seating, contact CGC. On-campus handicapped parking will be available for all events.

4. Do I need tickets?

 

Admission Tickets are required only for Commencement Exercises for the Corps of Cadets on Saturday, May 9. Ten (10) reserved seating tickets will be distributed to each cadet.

 

 

5. What time do graduates need to be there?

 

Graduates will gather in Deas Hall no later than 8:30 a.m. for lineup. Alumni fathers presenting diplomas to their sons or daughters will be lined up in the rear hallway of McAlister Field House. Families and other guests must arrive and be seated PRIOR TO THE PROCESSIONAL. Those not seated by 9:20 a.m. must wait until the conclusion of the processional before being seated.

 

 

6. How long does the ceremony usually last?

 

The ceremony will last approximately 3 hours.

 

 

7. Who is speaking at the cadet commencement this year? Who is speaking at CGC commencement?

 

Speakers will be announced at a later date.

 

 

8. What can we bring into the Field House for commencement?

 

All guests must have tickets to enter the stadium. No boxes, alcohol, weapons, firecrackers, umbrellas, beverage containers of any sort, backpacks, large handbags, coolers, thermoses or similar items will be allowed in the stadium. Food and drink are prohibited. Cameras and video cameras are permitted.
