1st Annual Kevin Higgins Golf Classic

The 1st Annual Kevin Higgins Golf Tournament was held on Friday, March 16, 2007 at Summerville's Miler Country Club.  A Special thanks goes out to three individuals: John Baker, class of 1950,  Rod Baldwin, Class of 1960, for their hard work and dedicaiton in organizing the event, and Bufort Blanton, Class of 1954, for graciously furninshing his course.  Mr. Blanton even provided an open bar for all the thirsty golfers.  The proceeds from the golf tournament went towards the Summer Meals Program, which provides breakfast and lunch for the football players during their summer workout program,  Without the golf tournament and all the loyal AFA members, the summer meals program would not have been possible for this summer.
