MSGT RILEY, CLASS OF 2010:
Last year, the
Riley family and The Citadel community lost one of
their own - a Cadet that was cherished by his classmates
and who made The Citadel a better place. His legacy
continues in the hearts and minds of his family, classmates,
and The Citadel Family Assocation.
Please read Mrs. Riley's letter to the
Youngrens (CFA past chairmen), the Citadel Family
Association, and the greater Citadel community. Riley

MATRICULATION
DAY SUCCESS:
On Saturday,
15 August 2009, 721 freshmen reported to The Citadel
to begin their Citadel experience. Families nervously
watched their children check into each of the five
barracks with sadness and pride.
In keeping with this tradition, The
Citadel Family Association's "blue shirts"
were present and accounted for, providing comfort,
friendship, and support during the difficult transition.
Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers for making
this important day a true success. Read Major General
Rosa's letter to the CFA here: General's
Letter (pdf)

fantastic CFA Chairman team, James and Mary Game:

care packages to let them know that their service
is appreciated and that they remain in our prayers.
The initial response
to the program brought with it an overwhelming outpouring
of support from our CFA families and Citadel
Cadets. This mission was given the designation of
Citadel Heroes. This is how the Citadel Heroes enterprise
was born... (link for more)
