Holidays Thirteen (13) holidays are granted each year, many of which are taken in December when the college is closed.

Annual Leave
A fulltime state employee working 37.5 hours per week will earn 15 days of annual leave per year. After ten (10) years of service with the State, employees will earn additional annual leave at the rate of 9.375 hours per year for each year above ten.

Sick Leave
A fulltime state employee working 37.5 hours per week will earn 9.375 hours per month or 15 days per year. This time may be used for personal illness and medical appointments.

Additional Leave
Court Leave, Election Leave, Military Leave, Death in Family, Blood Drives/Bone Marrow Donors, Leave Without Pay, Hazardous Weather and Emergency Leave and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
