Members of The Citadel family will take part in two commemorations this weekend to observe the anniversary of 9-11.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Summerall Chapel for faculty, staff and students. The 30-minute ceremony will include remarks by Citadel President Lt Gen. John W. Rosa who was in the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001. The Citadel 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony is open to the public.
