The General Westmoreland/Charleston Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars will conduct its 13th annual Massing of the Colors ceremony at 3 p.m. March 6 in Summerall Chapel at The Citadel.

The Massing of the Colors ceremony is dedicated to the memory of military service members who have given their lives to preserve liberty. It also honors those who have served, and those who are serving.

The March 6 ceremony is free and open to the public. Guests are asked to arrive and be seated by 2:45 p.m. Retired Navy Cmdr. Richard L. Schreadley will be this year's speaker.
