His lecture is free and open to the public. Acierno is the director of the PTSD clinical treatment team at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston. He also is a professor of psychiatry, military sciences, and psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has been conducting clinical trials on the efficacy of treatment for PTSD. He will talk about home-based telemedicine for veterans with PTSD and will present his research findings.
