Weather conditions are favorable for the 2:28 p.m. launch of the space shuttle Atlantis and Randy Bresnik's inaugural spaceflight.  The fuel cell problem is now a non-issue.  The hatch has been closed and latched, and NASA’s two recovery ships, the Liberty Star and the Freedom Star, are in position to recover the solid rocket boosters after they fall in the water.
