After being delayed a day for inclement weather, NASA’s Ares I-X test rocket lifted off from Kennedy Space Center successfully yesterday. 

 

Because both the Ares I-X and the Atlantis use the same support crew, the lift off of the Ares makes way for the launch of the Atlantis.
