Freshmen Career Assessment - SIGI

 

ALL CLASS of 2017 CADETS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE SIGI PROGRAM BY August 1, 2013!!

 

The SIGI is a software program available through The Citadel Career Center. It will help with career exploration, developing career skills, and career planning.

 

Follow these instructions to complete this assignment:

 

I. Create a SIGI Account

  1. Visit the Career Center website: http://www3.citadel.edu/career_services

  2. Click on the SIGI3 logo (right side of screen) to create an account. In the "NEW USER CREATE AN ACCOUNT" box, enter the following:

    • Access Code: YOURPLAN

    • Desired ID: (your own Lesesne Gateway ID).

  3. Click Start. Complete the form on the next page.

    (You are advised to write down the SIGI login information as you will need it again during ORTN 101 class.)

II. Complete the SIGI Program

Complete all 4 sections of the SIGI Self Assessment section:

  • Values

  • Interests

  • Personality Type

  • Skills.

 

Remember: This assessment must be completed by the student himself/herself.

We hope completing this assessment will help you begin to think about the skills, values, and careers in which you are interested. Note that you will need to refer back to this website when completing your 4th-Class Career Development Plan, which will occur during your Orientation 101 class.
