CONTRACTING PROCESS FOR NON-SCHOLARSHIP

Are you considering commissioning in the US Army when you graduate from The Citadel? Here are the steps you will need to take to start the contracting process:

· You will need to contact your MS Chief to inform them of your interest.
· Must be a US Citizen
· Turn in an original Birth Certificate and Social Security Card (We will return them back to you)
· Get medically qualified
· Pass an APFT
· Meet the Army Height/Weight standards
· Be academically aligned with a 2.0 or above (2.5 for Education Majors) and an academic junior (2A).
· Be military aligned with a minimum 2.0 ROTC GPA cumulative and semester.
· If you are in the National Guard or the Reserves you will be required to provide any documentation that is required by you from the Army ROTC Administration.
· Must fill out a National Security Questionnaire in a timely manner.
· You must turn in any other documents and fill out any correspondence that is asked of you by the Army ROTC Administration in a timely manner to speed the process along.

You may start the process during the first semester of your sophomore (an academic 3A) year.
