Ring and Class Jewelry Resizings
Resizings
**Rings can only be resized up to 1 size larger and only then if they have not been resized before. This is subject to Jostens Warranty Department's inspection of the ring - you will be contacted if it is not possible to resize it and asked what you would like to be done before any work will proceed.** All other rings will have to be remade.
When sizing your finger remember that Citadel class rings run about a 1/2 size larger than regular rings and you will need to add 1/2 size to the size that a jeweler gives you.
Please do NOT send your ring in a box you would like back (ie -- the original box you received your ring in). These boxes will NOT be sent back with your finished ring. The manufacturer will not be responsible for returning anything but your remade or resized class ring.
For example – if your jeweler tells you that you need a size 10, you actually need to order a size 10 1/2. I WILL NOT ADD THE HALF SIZE IN MY OFFICE -YOU MUST DETERMINE SIZE PRIOR TO SENDING THE RING. Re-engraving can be done when either resizing or remaking at no extra charge.
To have your ring resized (it can only be resized if you need to go up or down 1/2 or 1 size) you need to send your old ring to me at The Citadel Alumni Association, 171 Moultrie St., Charleston, SC 29409, along with the size that you wish it to be, the address you want it shipped to (NO PO BOXES), a daytime phone number and $20 for shipping and handling (checks must be made payable to CAA) and I will take care of the rest.
